The Merihart range of show trolleys
are constructed from either light 12mm square steel tube
framework with a steel mesh welded into it, or 12mm aluminium
tubes riveted into square aluminium rails.
Steel
Trolleys.
The mesh is specifically designed
for dogs and has an aperture size of 40mm x 100mm. Floors and tops
are made from 7mm plywood, the top being covered with Butyl
rubber to give a hard wearing nonslip surface.
Doors are
able to swing fully open through 180deg. and are fitted with easy to
use spring loaded
latches.
The
standard wheels are 150mm ball bearing type nylon wheels with
zero pressure rubber tyres, and 2 wheels can be swiveling if
required.
Umbrella
holder, lid hold down clips and latches to hold the trolley in its
folded configuration are standard and Zinc plating with
gold pasivate or powder coated finish is
available.
2 Berth and 4 berth versions are available of the
Standard. and Maxi sizes.
Special sizes
are available to order.
Optional wheels available are; 200mm nylon
Merihart trolleys
are the normal folding end type which when the lid and floor are
folded up collapse inwards to a width of 150mm for storage and the
sizes for the steel trolleys are as

Aluminum
Trolleys
Merihart aluminum trolleys
are made on two different base frames, the lighter one being
more suited to smaller type of dogs and it is recommended that the
load does not exceed 25 kgs. They are finished in the silver
aluminum colour or optional powder coating. They have 150mm wheels
and a folded width of 160mm
The uprights on all the sizes are 40mm apart and the
standard height is 860mm (4 door is 900). Special heights are
available.
Spring loaded retainers hold the lid down and the
trolley folded.
The larger aluminium trolleys are built take take
sunstantial loads (60 kg) and have a very strong base,
and the ability to have swivelling wheels, and umbrella holder
if required.

In
all cases the handles stick out 125mm in adition to the given
length.
The normal duty model are available in 2 door
configuration and the 950 and 1050 can have 4 doors and 2
teirs.
The weights of the light duty models range from 8.7 kg to
10,0 kgs. The normal duty models start at 14.6 kgs and progress to
19.7 kgs, but be aware that all extras add to the weight to some
degree.
