Puppy and Dog Pens

The Merihart  range of puppy and dog pens are all made from the same materials as the trolleys, namely welded mesh with square tube frames.

The pens are all made in sections and are held together by unique spring loaded pins, which are simple to use and  give a degree of versatility and strength not previously available in portable pens. From the basic square made up of 4 panels the unit can be added to at any time to finish up as a large run or may be utilized by using separate panels to block of doorways or paths etc. Special panels may be obtained to allow two or more pens to be joined together and brackets are available to attach panels to walls.

Probably the greatest feature of the
Merihart  panel system is the availability of a wide opening walk through door with a spring loaded double pin catch for quick and simple operation. Rubber feet on each panel stop the unit slipping about on smooth floors and scratching the surface. A 2 piece lid hinged in the centre is available to keep dogs in or out and to maintain the unit of 4 panels in a square when housing larger dogs. Once unclipped the pens are easily moved and transported  with each section weighing only 2.8 kgs. [1080 mm x 800 mm ]

The standard sizes available are:

  Length - 1080mm
Height   700 mm; 800 mm; 900 mm; and 1000 mm

The standard finish is powder coated but if the panels are to be subject to prolonged outdoor use they can be zinc treated first.

The same panel system can be used to make up portable pens of whatever size and height required. A top can be fitted so that dogs can be groomed on them. The advantage of this method of construction is that the separate panels can be carried individually or in pairs all all together depending on the strength of the person carrying them.
